We only use fluorocarbon free (PFC free) water repellent finishes.
Sustainable Cotton
Our quality sustainable cotton is better for the environment and farming communities – promoting positive practices across the cotton industry – providing a better choice for our customers.
Recycled Plastic
Garments created from recycled plastic bottles feature in our Honestly Made range over at Regatta Professional, however we’ve since expanded this technology more into our main Regatta range.
Thanks to this technology, we’re able to incorporate both fabrics and insulation made from recycled materials into our range of outdoor clothing and equipment, such as waterproof jackets, insulated jackets or rucksacks.
Feather Free
Feather Free is one of our newest forms of insulation and joined our outdoor clothing range in Autumn / Winter 21.
It’s extremely warm and incredibly soft, and mimics a real down fill by using the same wispy areas to trap body heat, and unlike real down, our Feather Free insulation will also perform when wet.
Previously, real down feathers were rarely used in our collection of outdoor clothing, and we would always use certified, ethically-sourced down feathers when doing so. As of AW21, Regatta no longer uses real down feathers, and will instead use our new Feather Free synthetic down insulation.
What’s more, Feather Free is also recycled. That means in certain cases we’re able to recycle up to 45 plastic bottles to create a single jacket.
Fur Free
All of our fashion trims on hoods, linings and cuffs are animal-friendly and are all 100% fur free right across the entire Regatta Great Outdoors’ range.
