Gift Card Terms and Conditions (T&Cs)

1. Acceptance of Terms and Updates

1.1. These Terms and Conditions (‘Terms’) apply to any purchaser of a Gift card or e-Gift Card. Your purchase is subject to the acceptance of these Terms.

1.2. We may update these Terms from time to time at our discretion. We will provide you with notice of the updated Terms by posting the updated Terms on this page, and the Terms will be effective for purchases made after posting.

1.3. Purchases made prior to the amendment will remain governed by the version of the Terms in force at the time of purchase.

2. Redemption

2.1. Gift Cards are redeemable towards the purchase of goods (including current promotional offers, at the prevailing prices listed) online at Regatta.com, and at any Regatta-owned stores in the United Kingdom.

2.2. If a purchase exceeds the balance on your Gift Card, the remaining amount must be paid with another payment method. Upon redemption, any unused balance will remain on the Gift Card for future purchases.

2.3. When making an online purchase, the value of the Gift card or e-Gift Card will be reduced by the amount of your transaction. You are only permitted to use one Gift Card or e-Gift Card per transaction, whether it be in-store or online.

2.4. To check your balance and confirm the expiry date, please go online, and use the balance checker provided (link).

3. Refunds

3.1. Items purchased with a Gift card and another payment method will be refunded in the same proportions as paid unless the gift card value is less than £1.

3.2. If an item purchased with a Gift Card or e-Gift Card is later exchanged for a lower-priced product or refunded, any money owed will be added to a new Gift Card or e-Gift Card.

3.3. There will be no cash refunds for gift card purchases.

4. Expiry

The Gift Card will automatically expire 24 months after your last purchase transaction.

5. Restrictions

5.1. The minimum gift card value is £10, and the maximum gift card value is £500.

5.2. Gift Cards are not redeemable for cash and cannot be returned for a cash refund, exchanged, resold, or used to purchase Gift Cards.

5.3. Promotions cannot be applied to the purchase of a Gift card or e-Gift card.

5.4. Gift Cards and e-Gift Cards cannot be redeemed outside of the United Kingdom.

5.5. Gift Cards will not be sent to addresses outside of the United Kingdom mainland.

6. Violation of these terms

If you violate these Gift Card Terms, we suspect or believe that a Gift Card or e-Gift Card was obtained, used, or applied to a purchase fraudulently, unlawfully, or otherwise in violation of these Gift Card Terms, or use any Gift Card in a manner that we suspect or believe is fraudulent, misleading, deceptive, unfair, or otherwise harmful to Regatta, its affiliates, or its customers, we reserve the right, without notice to you, to cancel, hold, void, or refuse to accept such Gift Cards without a refund, suspend or terminate accounts, suspend or terminate the ability to use our services, cancel or limit orders, and bill alternative forms of payment.

7. Risk of loss

Title and risk of loss for Gift Cards pass to the purchaser upon our electronic transmission of Gift Card or e-Gift Card to the purchaser or the designated recipient, our delivery to the carrier, or at the time of purchase for in-person transactions, whichever is applicable. Gift Cards must be obtained from Regatta or an authorised third party. You are responsible for safeguarding your Gift Card from unauthorised use. Regatta will not be responsible if any Gift Card is lost, stolen, destroyed, or used without your permission. Regatta is not responsible for and assumes no liability to you for any unlawful conduct or fraud by any third party associated with any Gift Card.

8. Limitation of liability

GIFT CARDS ARE PROVIDED ON AN 'AS IS' BASIS. WITHOUT LIMITING THE DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES CONTAINED IN REGATTA’S TERMS OF USE AND TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE MAKE NO REPRESENTATIONS, WARRANTIES, OR CONDITIONS OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WITH RESPECT TO GIFT CARDS, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. WE DO NOT REPRESENT OR WARRANT THAT A GIFT CARD WILL ALWAYS BE ACCESSIBLE OR ACCEPTED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMISSIBLE BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE TO ANY PERSON OR ENTITY FOR ANY DIRECT OR INDIRECT LOSS, DAMAGE (WHETHER ACTUAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, SPECIAL OR OTHERWISE), INJURY, CLAIM OR LIABILITY OF ANY KIND OR CHARACTER WHATSOEVER BASED UPON OR RESULTING FROM THE GIFT CARDS OR USE OF SUCH GIFT CARDS. IN THE EVENT THAT WE ARE FOUND LIABLE TO YOU AND TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMISSIBLE BY LAW, YOUR SOLE REMEDY WILL BE TO RECOVER ACTUAL AND DIRECT DAMAGES WHICH SHALL NOT EXCEED THE LAST BALANCE HELD ON YOUR GIFT CARD.

9. Jurisdiction & Governing Law

These terms and conditions and any dispute or claim (including a non-contractual dispute or claim) arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of England and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
