We’re Expanding Our Partnership with PGL to Get More Young People Outdoors
At Regatta, we believe everyone should have the chance to enjoy the outdoors - whatever their age, background or experience. That’s why we’re so proud to be continuing our partnership with PGL into a second year - and taking it even further.
Following a brilliant first year supporting PGL Kids’ Camps and Family Adventure Holidays, we’re now expanding our partnership into PGL’s Education and youth programmes, helping even more young people get outside and experience the benefits of adventure.
Making Outdoor Adventures More Accessible
This year, we'll be providing 6000 waterproof jackets and trousers for Breakthrough Fund school groups across PGL centres across the UK. It might sound simple, but having the right kit can make all the difference.
By making waterproofs available at PGL centres, we’re helping ensure that every child can take part in activities, whether it’s climbing, kayaking or exploring without worrying about the weather or whether they have the right gear.
Supporting the Breakthrough Fund
This partnership also supports PGL’s Breakthrough Fund, which helps children from all backgrounds access outdoor learning experiences. For some families, the cost of trips or equipment can be a barrier. Together with PGL, we’re working to remove those barriers - helping more young people build confidence, resilience and independence through outdoor adventure.

If you’ve got a PGL trip coming up, we’ve made it even easier to get prepared. Our PGL-approved Kit List is back from 18th March, available in-store and online, with everything you need in one place - from waterproof jackets and pack-it layers to fleeces, footwear and accessories. Whether it’s your first trip or your fifth, we’ve got you covered.

Since 1981, we’ve been creating affordable, reliable outdoor kit to help families enjoy the outdoors - whatever the weather. Partnering with PGL is a natural fit for us. We share the same belief: that time outside builds confidence, creates memories and helps people feel their best. And by expanding this partnership, we’re able to support even more young people to get out there, try something new and discover what they’re capable of.
