Britain's Top Snowdrop Gardens

It’s approaching the right time of year for the fabulous displays of snowdrops in the UK. Indeed, some snowdrops have already opened up their pretty white blooms in warmer areas.

Many gardens and tourist attractions open especially for this annual spectacular – and a host of festivals are about to take place.

There are some 20 species of Snowdrops, which combine to create the stunning displays of white flower blankets. As their name suggests, snowdrops may not even wait for the snow to melt before emerging from their winter sleep, instead pushing right up through the snow to offer a delightful sight.

You can see snowdrops in a wealth of different places, including wild spots, such as local woodlands, or at more cultivated garden attractions.
