Trekking through fields, climbing mountains or simply enjoying the great outdoors are not particularly renowned for being the most stylish of hobbies, but here I am to show you that the impossible is possible.
Having grown up in a small village in Nottinghamshire surrounded by fields and farms, there was little else to be attracted to than the quaint countryside. I spent many of my summer days walking between villages through the overgrown fields taking in the fresh air and watching the wildlife wander by. As the years have gone on, and after spending three years living in the city of Liverpool to complete a degree in Fashion Communication, there is still nothing I love more than returning home and to enjoy that peaceful walk once again, but this time, with much more style.
The Bayeux II Jacket is a favourite of mine; it’s practical and stylish with its waterproof Hydrafort fabric and a soft, yellow striped lining for a little pop of colour. There is no chance of getting wet on a summer hike with this comfortable, fashionable jacket – look great, feel great!
If it’s a chic rain mac that you’re after then the Gracey Jacket is my number one recommendation; it’s lightweight and breathable with a concealed hood for those summer showers. The waist belt on this jacket gives a super-flattering silhouette so you can look fabulous whilst enjoying the great outdoors.
Wear It With..
For a lazy Sunday stroll across the countryside, it’s all about being comfortable. I teamed these jackets with a pair of on-trend ripped jeans, a simple high neck vest and some black cut-out boots; simple and stylish.
